Sergei Yesaulov's life can be called ideal — he has a job he loves, a wife and a beautiful daughter. Everything changes when a banal family quarrel leads to irreversible consequences: the daughter gets into an accident, and Yesaulov finds his wife strangled in bed. From that moment on, the man becomes the main suspect in the murder. Sergei begins his own investigation to figure out and punish the killer. And in order not to stay on the street, he gets a job at taxi company No. 13.
