Benidorm Is Murder - Episode Guide

Dennis, a burned-out ex-police officer hiding behind a failing Scottish pub in Benidorm, meets Rosa, an actress obsessed with crime shows, and together they solve mysteries. In their first case, a Take That tribute act is the big draw at the Hotel Ahora when 'Robbie' announces he is quitting the band and running off to Faliraki with the hostelry manager's daughter. However, when the singer's body is found floating in the hotel pool, Rose and Steve are convinced there is more to the case than meets the eye.

At the Laughter Lounge, Frank Mann hosts faded game-show star Vince Starky, whose comeback could save debt-ridden owner Ziggy. When doorman Paco finds a rooftop corpse, Dennis uncovers suspicious clues and Rosa unearths grudges, debts and secrets. Can they persuade reluctant Maria that the killer is hiding in plain sight? 

At her hen party, maid of honour Megan humiliates shy bride Leona and their friends before revealing a luxury villa. When they reject her plans, she storms off alone. By morning, a murder shocks the resort, forcing detectives Rosa and Dennis to untangle old resentments, loyalties and deceptive appearances.

Bingo Babs, five years after scooping a million-euro jackpot, is living in a faded caravan, nagged by daughters Connie and Ronnie for never splashing any cash. In the BingoDome, she's a local legend, except to Italian rival Valentina, who insists Babs stole her winning ticket.

But one morning, Bingo Babs is found on her caravan floor, dead with a head wound, a bingo pad in hand, marked with six dabbed numbers.

Maria calls Dennis for help once more, the Spanish police is running short on personnel and thinks him and Rosa might be able to help. At the crime scene, they find untouched teas, no real struggle and a number sequence. Rosa becomes convinced that Babs has sent a message from beyond the grave and builds a ‘Murder She Dabbed' wall back in in The Tavern, linking modern bingo calls to suspects: ‘two little ducks' Connie and Ronnie; Javier, BingoDome's friendly bingo caller; vengeful bingo nemesis Valentina and Bab's loyal best friend Sandra.

When several threats arise, as word spreads that Babs's missing fortune may finally be found, Dennis and Rosa realise the clock might be ticking on more than just the investigation.

As Dennis follows the money trail, old rivalries and simmering grievances begin to look very different. When a fresh discovery sends Dennis and Rosa racing across Benidorm, they realise somebody may still be willing to do anything to get their hands on the cash. Can Dennis decode Babs's last act before the truth - and the money - disappear for good?
