At the center of the story is Viktor Kostrov, a widower and former rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. After the death of his wife, he brings up the twins Katya and Ivan. At the invitation of his comrade-in-arms Aslan, he comes to visit the southern city and stays here forever to start a new life. He opened a small business and organized a rescue group, which included his children.
The "nose" and "ears" of the squad are a golden retriever, he was once rescued from poachers, and since then the dog has become a devoted friend, a full–fledged member of the rescue squad and a mascot. Together, the squad members and their irreplaceable tailed assistant help tourists or extreme athletes out of trouble and help the local police. Major Anatoly Lapshin interacts with rescuers more often. And all the heroes of this story defy dangers, solve complicated crimes and come to the aid of all those who find themselves in trouble.
