England, 1783: When 17-year-old Jim Hawkins gets his hands on the treasure map of the infamous pirate William Flint, the adventure of a lifetime begins. He sets off on a journey to Treasure Island. But the prospect of a fortune also lures other fortune hunters aboard the 'Hispaniola'. Flint's daughter Sheila sneaks aboard the ship disguised as a sailor, and the dangerous pirate Long John Silver and his evil henchmen have also mingled with the crew.

On the way to Treasure Island, the ship's cook, Long John Silver, turns out to be a dangerous pirate who, along with his followers Israel Hands and Black Dog, takes command. Captain Flint's daughter Sheila also has her sights set on her father's inheritance. To do so, she has smuggled herself aboard the "Hispaniola" disguised as a cabin boy. On the island, the crew encounters the mad hermit Ben Gunn – and a bitter fight for Captain Flint's treasure begins...
