Angela is a social worker, an active, empathetic woman with a sunny character. But a few months ago she lost her nine-year-old son Matteo in a car accident. A tragedy that broke her. In an attempt to rediscover the meaning of her existence, she returns to her family home, in a small village on an island in the Tuscan archipelago, where she was born.
