Heisman Trophy Presentation - Episode Guide

The very first national airing of the Heisman Trophy Presentation was aired by CBS TV in 1977 and then it was not aired on TV again until ESPN began an annual telecast of the event in 2003.

This was the 2nd ever national airing of the Heisman Trophy Presentation as the very first airing was seen on CBS TV in 1977 before it began it's continued run this year on ESPN.

The 2015 Heisman Trophy Presentation Presented by Nissan will be awarded tonight to the most outstanding NCAA College Football athlete in North America as voted on by the Football Writers of America.

Chris Fowler hosts the 82nd annual Heisman Trophy Presentation. The finalists include Lamar Jackson (Louisville), Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma), Jabrill Peppers (Michigan), Deshaun Watson (Clemson) and Dede Westbrook (Oklahoma). From New York.

For the first time in the award's storied history, the Heisman Trophy is awarded at ESPN's studio in Bristol, Conn., with finalists and several former winners appearing virtually from their homes or schools; Chris Fowler hosts the ceremony.

2020 Heisman Finalist

* Alabama WR DeVonta Smith would be just the second No. 6 to win the Heisman, following Baker Mayfield (2017).

* Alabama QB Mac Jones would be the third No. 10, following Robert Griffin III (2011) and Troy Smith (2006).

* Florida QB Kyle Trask would be the fifth No. 11 to win the award (which would tie Nos. 14 and 20 for the most), following Matt Leinart (2004), Andre Ware (1989), Steve Spurrier (1966) and Terry Baker (1962).

* Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence would be the fourth No. 16 to win the Heisman, joining Chris Weinke (2000), Jim Plunkett (1970) and Gary Beban (1967).

For the fourth year, the Heisman Ceremony will originate from Jazz at Lincoln Center's Appel Room in New York City.

The four finalists attending include cornerback and wide receiver Travis Hunter (Colorado), running back Ashton Jeanty (Boise State), and quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel (Oregon) and Cam Ward (Miami). 

Derrick Henry, last year's Heisman Trophy winner, joins the pledge class along with 1996 winner Danny Wuerffel.
