Doom Castle - Episode Guide

Although it is ten years since Bonnie Prince Charlie fled to France, Jacobite hopes are still alive, and the cross-channel trade in spying is still brisk. But it is a dangerous occupation - especially in Paris where our story begins.

Count Victor has come to Scotland to find the mysterious Drimdarroch. En route to Inveraray he is attacked by a group of clansmen and is forced to kill one of them before seeking shelter in Doom. 

Count Victor, in Scotland to find the mysterious Drimdarroch, begins to suspect his host, Baron Lamond. After the trial of James Stewart , Doom Castle is attacked by clansmen dressed in the outlawed tartan and Victor finds himself face-to-face with an old enemy.

Although Count Victor has failed to find Drimdarroch, he has at last met Baron Lamond's daughter, Olivia. Sim MacTaggart suspects him of being involved in a plot to rescue James Stewart and a further raid on the castle leaves him at the mercy of an unexpected adversary.

Count Victor hears about the pressures on Baron Lamond to sell Doom Castle. At the inn he finds out that Sim MacTaggart is the mysterious serenader and following a message to meet ' Drimdarroch' at the bridge, he fights a duel with his old enemy. Mac Callum. But MacCallum is not Drimdarroch. 

At the ball at Inveraray Castle, Count Victor learns the true identity of the mysterious 'Drimdarroch'. He and Sim MacTaggart fight a duel. Sim is badly wounded and Count Victor is locked up in the cellar at Inveraray Castle. But he manages to escape.
