Lalka - Episode Guide

After making a fortune from the war, Stanisław Wokulski returns to Poland with a single obsession: winning the hand of the beautiful Izabela Łęcka.

With Izabela's dreams of traveling to Paris gone up in smoke, Stanisław suggests that her father might have something other than money to invest.

Izabela turns Stanisław's desires to her advantage for an opportunity to fulfill her writerly ambitions. Marianna takes an interest in Ignacy.

An unexpected victory raises Stanisław's profile and brings him closer to Izabela, but a misjudged auction threatens to snatch away his progress.

As they each run away from their lives in Warsaw, Izabela gets a taste of surviving on the streets while Stanisław pursues a new business venture.

With the truth out in the open, the fate of everything Stanisław has fought for hangs in the balance. Will he get what he wants?
