In each episode, the protagonist - a successful chef - visits a restaurant that is struggling. His mission is to save the establishment. To do this, he evaluates its kitchen, service, and management, subsequently confronting the owners with his analysis, which is often delivered in blunt, hard-hitting terms. Depending on the specific situation, he either proposes strategies or works collaboratively with the owners to refine the existing concept—or replace it entirely. The typical timeframe is one week; while this often spans seven days, it may conclude as early as the fifth day, or, in cases requiring extensive renovations, it can occasionally extend over several months. After a few weeks, he revisits the restaurant to assess the long-term viability and success of the measures implemented.
