The Mass setting is Mozart's Missa Brevis in B flat, the president is the Rt Rev Mike Hill, bishop of Bristol, and the preacher is the Dean, the Very Rev Dr David Hoyle.

A traditional Christmas morning family service of Holy Communion, live from All Saints Church in Fulham, west London. Families from all generations celebrate Christmas Day, raising their voices in well-loved carols including Joy To The World, See Amid The Winter's Snow and O Come All Ye Faithful.

The service is introduced by the vicar, the Rev. Canon Joe Hawes and the celebrant is the Rev. Penny Seabrook. Mozart's Credo Mass in C is sung by All Saints Choir, led by Director of Music Jonathan Wikeley, with organist Matthew Burgess plus favourite children's carol Away in a Manger is sung by the Junior All Saints Singers.

Featuring popular carols accompanied by award-winning brass band, The Oldham Band (Lees), including O Come All Ye Faithful, O Little Town of Bethlehem and While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night - a traditional local favourite. The bishop of Manchester, the Rt Rev David Walker, leads the service, along with the Rev Derek Palmer and the Rev Jean Hurlston. Also, members of the congregation share their stories of Christmas, in a town of many different traditions.

The Bishop of Coventry, the Rt Rev Dr Christopher Cocksworth, will preside and Coventry Cathedral Choir, made up of girls, boys and adult singers, will lead the congregation in familiar carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful, See, Amid the Winter's Snow and Hark! the Herald Angels Sing. A lively Christmas morning family Eucharist from Blackburn Cathedral, capturing the wonder of the Nativity journey with a liturgy of music, readings and stories and featuring the uplifting setting of Bob Chilcott's A Little Jazz Mass.

The cathedral choir of girls, boys and adult singers leads the congregation in familiar carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful, See Amid the Winter's Snow, I Saw Three Ships, Ding Dong Merrily on High and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

Broadcast live, with the congregation taking part in the readings and prayers, the story of Christmas will be explored afresh by the dean of Blackburn, the Most Rev Peter Howell-Jones. The Eucharist will be presided over by the bishop of Burnley, the Rt Rev Philip North, and the music directed by John Robinson, accompanied by the cathedral's organist in residence, John Hoskin.

Set in the heart of Blackburn's town centre, the modern gothic splendour of the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary the Virgin with St Paul stands on a site that has been used for Christian worship for over 1,300 years.
