Adding Times Watched Count to members episode list

I would like to see a counter added that would show total times watched next to a shows episode along with the current watched/unwatched indicator. How many of us have shows where we have watched episodes multiple times? With the Simpsons, I bet I have watched most of the episodes at least 8-10 times. Seasons 1-7 of the first Doctor Who series maybe 10-12 times. Babylon 5 I have watched every episode at least 5 times. This is a lot for some, but I am no spring chicken myself. I watched Gilligans Island when it was on Prime Time so I have probably seen every episode of that at least 20 times or more. Also remember watching Howdy Doody right as the series was ending. God that makes me feel old! <chuckle> anyways, this is just a suggestion. Have a good one.

I love this idea! I was thinking about that just yesterday, came to the forum, and it was one of the most recent suggestions. This would be an amazing function. I have an excel spreadsheet I used before coming to TVMaze, where I keep that kind of information.

Similarly, although not completely in the same vein, I wonder if there's a way to capture actual runtime, rather than live TV time. Watching shows on DVD or Netflix means runtime is 42 minutes, rather than 60. Some shows have this captured accurately here (usually HBO shows that already air without ads), but Network shows default to 30 or 60 mins.

Another thing about a counter for times watched, that would make the shows a member has watched list a lot more accurate. Since currently a show can only be marked once. A members shows watched count goes according to the number of episodes in a series. This will always put a show with a lot of episodes high on the list even though a member may watch a show with less episodes more. I watch a lot of reruns of the Classic Doctor Who at times and other shows and my watch count on them would be a lot higher than lets say...The Munsters which I enjoy but don't watch as much

As for your comment about the actual run time of the show, that could be put in as a option when marking a show as watched. Ask the member did you watch the full show or NO Commercials version. I put all the shows I watch onto my Dish DVR and then skip through commercials, this drops the actual watch time to 42-44 minutes plus the time it takes to fast forward through the commercials on a hour long show. It is sad that they keep adding more and more commercials. When I watched the original Star Trek in prime time, there was 52 minutes of show and only 8 minutes of commercials.
