Watchlist : compact view

IceFlow wrote 9 years ago: 1

Hi,

Would it be possible to implement the possibility to choose between the actual list, and a more compact view of it, in order to see all the unwatched show without scrolling ?

And another request : is there a way / would it be possible to hide the shows I don't want to watch for now from the list ?

thanks.

Hi Iceflow, thanks for posting your question.

In the current system you can make use of tags to filter shows depending on your needs.

You can create them here: http://www.tvmaze.com/dashboard/tags
And add them to shows here: http://www.tvmaze.com/dashboard/follows

To not see shows in the watchlist, you can just unfollow them or add them to a filter tag like 'watch later' :)

Let us know should you have any other questions or suggestions

cheers,

Jan

hi Jan,

Thanks for your answer. I used the tag for shows not yet aired (plan to watch), but didn't think of it to make a list of "on hold" shows. Thanks.

I thought of unfollowing them, but it is not really that I don't want to watch them anymore, more that there are on hold for now. Unfollowing them would mean that I have to remember which shows I unfollowed, so not very convenient.

I will go with the tag solution.

What about my first question ? Is a compact view (like a show take one line, all shows are more or less viewable on the screen without scrolling) worth considering ?

Thanks again Jan.

Hi IceFlow,

I designed some mockups last week for the watchlist that do just that. However, they are not finalized and we're only meeting in a couple of weeks to look at the whole of the site and streamline a bunch of things.

Is it worth considering? Yes.
How will it look? Don't know yet.

But we'll reply again to this thread once we've got more definitive answers. Just keep the feedback coming as we'll definitely take what everyone is saying into account.
