Does anyone know why all of a sudden Rollo can't speak properly and has to learn a new language. It's very confusing

the creators could have done a better job indeed with this, but I assume they want to show Rollo as a traitor to its family. Wanting to become a French man and therefore should learn French (nobody is fluent in a foreign language at the beginning lol). We don't really know the amount of time that have elapsed between now and last episode of the previous season.
Thanx for the reply I was referring to Episode 3 when the previous two episodes of Season 4 Rollo seemed to talk fine. There may have been a time lapse between episodes 2 and 3 because jumping straight into Rollo not speaking properly just doesn't make sense

I haven't watched Episode 3 as of yet, so I can't answer it yet haha!
Oh I'm sorry I had a feeling that you hadn't. Just reply to my thread when you've had a chance to watch Episode 3
I think they are trying to sketch a language barrier between each other. Rollo doesn't understand what he is saying as he does not speak their language, something like that, but indeed it is just weird :p
