My TV Episodes

We are developing a mobile app (named My TV Episodes) for TV Shows tracking using TVMaze’s great API :)

We have just published the 1.0 version of Android app (iOS version is coming soon) and we like to hear your comments and feedbacks.

Basic Features:

* Search & add new TV shows.
* Follow your favorite shows with our user friendly list & calendar UI.
* Track your (un)watched episodes.
* Top 10 list for new and popular shows. (based on rating & popularity)
* Configurable push notifications for you favorite shows air dates & times.
* Free (Ad Supported)
* No special Android permission required (just internet connection)

If you don’t have a Android device, you can checkout screenshots using following links.

Unfortunately we couldn’t publish our Android app on Google Play because Google request permission for TV Shows marketing images from every Network. TVMaze copyright policy is not enough for Google, they also request written permission from every Networks.

So we are going to publish the Android app on other Android Markets (such as Amazon, SlideME, 1Mobile, Mobango, Opera, etc.)

You can download Android app using one of the following links for now:

Amazon Android Appstore:

Thanks for comments :)

Tthis is really nice!
I downloaded from amazon & within minutes had all my fav shows loaded onto it.

VERY simple interface, thanks! :)

Just one thing I noticed, you don't retrieve/show special episodes.

I really like the App.

Is there a way to login to my TVMaze-Account through the App? Synchronization of the watched episodes and the followed shows would be really awesome.

Looks great. I love calendar view with all the posters <3

I agree with @CR26 about synchro with tvmaze :-)

Really a good job @mustafatan75

Thanks for the encouraging comments :)

We'd love to add TVMaze login & synchronization but currently TVMazi API ( http://www.tvmaze.com/api ) does not support these features. If TVMaze team adds these features to API, we also add them to our app.

Not bad. However, as it doesn't sync to the site it is just far too much work to manually re-enter all my shows, especially as I already use SeriesGuide X which had my shows on before I started with this site. My one real criticism so far when I tried it out, was the ads, do they have to flash so prominently and obnoxiously. They were so distracting I only entered two shows as a test before giving up. I don't mind ads as I do have a few ad supported apps, but the only ad supported ones I use are relatively discreet about their ads and where possible, if I like the app I much prefer paying for an ad free version. If they ever open up the API to syncing with apps like yours I would be interested in a reasonably priced ad free version. Until then I'll stick with what I have, but it's always good to see more choice, even if it isn't yet quite what I want.
