Can we a new option to search for "New" shows only? because it's really hard to find a brand new show or if there is a word around please enlighten me. thanks

What do you class as "New"? I'm guessing you mean shows that premiered less than X amount of time ago (i.e 1 month).

But would you also need to include shows still classed as in development but will premier within X amount of time?

Either way, it's effectively a range, like:

(Today - 1 month) to (Today / Today + 1 month)

P.S Using MySQL, this would just be:

...WHERE premierDate BETWEEN date_sub(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 1 MONTH) AND date_add(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 1 MONTH)

time span of 1-2 months would be fine i guess or may be we could select the time span ourselves like lets say "New Shows" then started may be in "2016" or in the last "2 months" or something like that.

Are you referring to this page; http://www.tvmaze.com/showstatus? In case you do, you could use a tag system or set it to premiered most recently, but we know it should be improved and will likely get some finetuning in the future or so.

In case you are looking for new brand shows to add to your watchlist, you could simply search for 'in development shows'

I actually saw that but it only works for the shows i have followed isnt it? and "in development shows" are the ones which are going to start in the future but i am talking about shows which are currently running but have only aired a couple of episodes only.

Yes, 'Show Status' has been created primarily for the shows you are following to have a quick look when they are about to start, whether they have been ended or to return.

I'm not entirely sure whether this solves a lot for you, but it might be a possibility to add an extra filter to our search engine to define series by year. For example when you search for the year 2016, it will only show series that aired their first season in 2016. I'm not particularly sure whether this is plausible, but David could answer you that.

Don't know if that helps rameezasif, but I think that would be a helpful feature to have. Can help a person search for new shows that they might have otherwise have missed.
