We're planning on adding this endpoint. This topic has been brought up several times during our meetings.
It will likely be implemented sooner than later.

We don't have a time estimate and at the moment we are working on user features with a high request count.
Is this for a project that is currently live, is there a launch date you're aiming for, ...?

i am writing an app and i would like to let the user click a button to watch the trailer of a given show. at the moment i am simply referring the user to youtube with the search term "{show name} trailer". however i would be nice if i could send the user directly to the trailer or even play it in my own app
