Default Runtime

I set the default runtime for the series, but runtime does not apply to all episodes, why ?

Can you make when you set the default runtime for the series, it also applies for all episodes..

If you set the default runtime BEFORE you add the episodes, it will be set for all episodes, but if there were already episodes added before you set the runtime, those you need to change manually.

the problem is that someone already added all episodes before, i just set the default runtime, but this runtime not applied to all episodes.. But can we make that the default runtime applied automatically to all episodes ?

I understand your problem, but this is also dangerous, as with some shows, the runtime changes, for example: The Voice, American idol.

Exactly for this reason, I think that would not be beneficial.

Yes, I understand, but you can make a special button in this situation. Only trusted members can set the default runtime to all episodes.

I will talk to david and jan about this :)

If you do decide to add something like this, it would probably best to show a list of episodes that are going to be changed with a check-box next to them so that episodes that are known to have a different runtime can be excluded.

That is a good idea :)

We already applied a new show's default runtime to all of the existing episodes (obviously only if there was no runtime set yet for those episodes - an existing runtime on the episode level won't be overwritten!), but there was a bug preventing it from functioning properly in some scenarios. It's fixed now :)
