Invictus: The Road to the Games - Is this the correct show title

JAGUARDOG wrote 9 years ago: 1

It's true I know nothing about UK shows but I stumbled onto this show because it is also airing in the U.S. as well on ESPN & ESPN2. I believe "The Road to the Games is only the name of the 1st Episode airing in the U.K. only? I believe the show itself should really be titled "The Invictus Games" based on a few TV sites I have looked at? However this is only conjecture on my part. - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/16217/invictus-the-roa...

Fixed. Please use the correct thread for any future issues: http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/432/edit-request

If I had positively knew that it was incorrect I would have put it in the Edit Request thread but I was not sure so since it was a question and not a edit request that is why I put it here so whoever wanted could respond!

Sorry guys, but this show does not qualify to be in our database conform our new policy regarding sport shows. It does broadcast in several nations plus an irregular broadcast, so it has been deleted.

I'm sorry to have to say this but with the new sports policy the site will be losing out on a lot of shows that every other TV site does have. Less shows means less traffic so I'm wondering if this can even be considered a TV site anymore?

No Specials

No 1 time only made for TV Movies

No Sports shows that air on a non-recurring basis - World Cup, Olympics, Invictus Games, Paralympics, Tour de France and so many more

I'm just saying the limitations and restrictions will keep the site from being a great Global TV site and made it mediocre at best just above futoncritic.com, tvdb.com, tv.com and possibly imdb.com.

Well Ron,

TV movies are no series, so a tv series site should not add them in my opinion.

Those sport events you mentioned also do not qualify as a series for me and they air simultaneously and many countries and many channels.
You can be assured that tvmaze is doing very good with visitors and that we are steadily growing :)

cheers
Juan

Yes you are 100% correct they are Not "Series" however TV sites are not limited to just series if you look around the Internet you will plainly see that! I thought this was a TV site not just a Series site but I must have assumed wrong? Anyways all I am saying is sites thrive, prosper and grow on traffic as it brings in advertisers and money. The fewer shows not series you have on the site the less traffic the site will have. Yes the site is doing very well and growing very fast and is top rate however it could grow even at a faster pace with more traffic is all I am saying!

I understand your opinion, but david and jan decided that movies are not allowed here, so we have to stick to it :)
