I think an iOS app/android app would be amazing because sometimes using the mobile web version is difficult.

That iOS app just creates a dummy account and caches data locally on iPhone. It does not have any way to access existing accounts and is limited to only the app to search/update.
Appearance is okay, but functionality is seriously lacking.

Unfortunately apps developed by community are limited to API provided by TVMaze. http://www.tvmaze.com/api There is no login/authentication function yet in API endpoints. Also iOS app does not create any dummy account, because no account needed for fetching data.
The problem is after I put in all my shows on TVmaze, I don't want to have to do this again on a separate iOS app. Also, marking shows as 'watched' on the iOS app, then doesn't sync with TVmaze..so effectively you're marking things done as 'watched' twice. TVmaze needs an iOS app. Or at least a way to sync your account info to various iOS apps.

Fully agree. That is really the only way an iOS app is worth looking at.
