Show Request Rejected

Hello,

I wasn't sure if this was the proper place to post this, but there was no way to message the handler directly about this (unless there is and I didn't know how because I'm new lol). Anyways the show I requested to be added was rejected because the handler said it was already on the site. I think there actually might be two different shows.

The one on the site is called strip search. It started in 2013 and streamed on youtube. The summary said this:

In 2011, the Creators (a.k.a. Mike and Jerry) declared to the Penny Arcade office that a reality show based on webcomics must be done. After a year of research and a successful Kickstarter stretch goal, the stage had been set for 12 Artists flown from around the world to compete for $15,000 in cash and a year integrated into the Penny Arcade machine. This series airs on Penny Arcade's site and YouTube every Tuesday & Friday.

The show I was trying to add is also called strip search, but it started in 2001 and aired on VH1 and the summary said this:

Fifteen American men from all over the United States dance and model in grueling competitions to win six-figure salaries and one-year contracts as members of a seven-member Las Vegas male strip show revue

I don't think they are the same show (but I may be wrong). But I think the rejection may have been erroneous.

Indeed it might have been rejected unjustified. Please submit again and state that it is part of a VH1 series (2001) and not the youtube one. Though I would like to inform you to not submit IMDB summaries as we are not allowed to use them.

I will submit again, but in my original request I did list it as being a reality show from VH1 from 2001. I just didn't want to run the risk of it getting rejected again in the event that I was wrong about it being two different shows or the handler thinking I was stupid for trying to add something again that was rejected. There was no way to message him directly about it.

Ok and thanks for the information, I didn't realize that IMDB summaries were not allowed. I must not have read that in the rules for show requests.
