It strikes me as odd that the API doesn't inform you which episodes a person was actually cast/crew for (in neither embedding, using /shows/ID/cast, /shows/ID/crew nor /characters/ID).
I assume that if this was added, guest cast/crew would be added at the same time.
I think embed is the way to go for this.
/episodes/{episode_number}?embed[]=cast&embed[]=crew
