Show Images - What's UP?

Hi Ron,

Firstable I would refer you to read Jan's article about these photos and it can be found here; Low Resolution Image Uploads.

David & Jan are currently creating a system to have a size limit to upload photos. I have been deleting some of your shows posters as they were not matching with TVMaze's sizes, which made photos look blur or oversized. I would recommend you to use posters on TheTVDB or Posters with a size around 680x1000 as they fit perfectly.

Please do not upload them again.

Thomas why are you removing my show images there are nothing wrong with them. I will wait for your response before I add them back in where they belong?

As long as we cannot find a fitting or "almost fitting" poster it is better to leave it empty, in time we will find a good one. Posters which are too small look blurry and ugly and if a picture has a completely wrong size...for example the shows name is "Revolution" and you can only see "lu", it also makes not much sense.

As far as size 90% of the photos I copy do not indicate their size and I have no way of determining what it's size is so if it fits and is clear I get it!

Now you are saving there is finally rules or a rule posted here somewhere on the size or what you can do or not do, it's about freaking time? How are we as members to know when an important POST needs to be read after we do something wrong? She posted it 7 days ago yet I have not heard a word about it? You have been removing my photos for a while not yet you failed to give me the curosity of letting me know so I would continue tol screw up, that's real thoughtful of you?

I'm NOT upset because photos or anything of mind was removed or replaced, I AM UPSET because no one had the courtesy to tell me I was messing up!

As far as I know this is the 1st RULE that has been spelled out on the site and it's about time. We need a lot more and before the year is up maybe? Also we need a way to find out when something important has been POSTED somewhere on the site that we need to read right away?

I purpose a THREAD or LINK titled (RULES TO LIVE BY HERE) or something like that. If we can't be notified when we need to read something then at least there is a SET PLACE we can go at least once a week if not more often to see what is NEW? Or better yet when we make our fist POST in that thread and mark NOTIFY we will always know when something new is there? It's really NOT Rocket Science here people on what needs to be done!

Even if I could remember which photo I had used and found it again I wouln't have anyway to show you. The site is not set up to allow photos in the Forum?

Maye in the future I suggest that PHOTOS are not totally removed just saved in the Gallery when replaced so we still have them to look at later on if need be?

good idea, if you look at popular shows like for example Arrow, Daredevil and many others...there are already several nice pics in the main gallery for each show :)

OK guys, now I know something is up here, is it a conspiracy? When I added the show Image for this show "Get Swank'd" it was perfect, it was very clear and fit the show photo BOX perfectly so why was it removed? The NEW photo you just put in it's place is too small it does not fill the entire Photo show Box like the one I submitted did as it has space at the bottom and also at the top. Also the photo is so small you can hardly see the girl's faces but you could in mine?

Very poor choice of replacement this time Juan, very poor!

Updated the image. The one Juan uploaded had white spacing on the top and bottom which caused the thumb not to be cropped correctly. It's fine now.

That wasn't me who added that NEW Photo it was Jan and YES it is way nicer as a matter of fact it is the same identical photo I posted there myself that was removed for no reason! Besides I have not had the time to remove it from from picture folder on my hard drive yet. I have 3 days of photos I need to clean out of their but I will continue to wait and look around a bit first. I like to see if my photos are still in tact as I posted them or been replaced for some reason?

It took me a few hours but I looked at all shows without a poster, found posters for some of them and added them.

Right now we have 46 shows in total left without a poster, some of those shows are in development stages, so in time we will get nice posters for them and for some it seems impossible to find a nice looking and fitting poster.

I also went through all existing posters, replaced some and removed some that were not fitting.
