Request Show to add to DataBase Endpoint

It would be a really cool feature if you could request through the API to add a Series to your database, this would be quite handy for my app once it is finished, since it's primary scraper is The TVDB, however if the user wants to get the upcoming schedule for one of their TV Shows (As Time zone information comes through TVMaze), a message could popup asking if you want to request the TV Show from TV Maze, and then the button will send an HTTP Message to your database, with the name of the Show, and it's TVDB ID (or TVRage ID), where one of the admins can verify the information and add it.

This way you can add the shows that people find relevant, without them having to setup an account and request it in your forums, and lets face it, some people are just too lazy for that. :)

Thanks,

William.

That's an interesting one. I don't know how well this would work yet though. For the functionality to work as you described, the API endpoint should be open without any authentication, that sounds a bit unsettling. Will give it some further thought.

It could be Authenticated, but then you would have to bring in keys, which would be a lot of work.

There could be special cases, or requesting a special key from the admin instead.
