you should be able to designate shows as rewatching or mark them to rewatch in the future. that way you can use tv maze to keep track of shows you plan to rewatch and your status as you do so.
It's been suggested before.
They'd have to redesign a few things such as the watch list to take it into account
If you've marked an episode as watched, but then wanna mark it to rewatch again, you could change "Watched" to "Acquired", or just uncheck "Watched", then it will show on your list again.

Your statistics would go down though doing it that way.
