Following vs Watched

I use 'following' for active TV programmes I am interested in, but this means any programmes I have watched but stop watching in Season 2 disappears from the following list, which is what I want, But could there be a 'Watched' list, category across the site i.e. in dropdowns.

You can add a tag to it and then filter by tag in most pages.

Though unfortunately you wouldn't be able to use it on the shows search.
