Will you later on allow users to mark episode as watched outside of the site? (as well as retrieve watched episodes)
Currently FlowDiscuss interact with Trakt to sync watched episodes, and I really would love to be able to do the same with Tvmaze.
That's an interesting question!
An API for tracking watched episodes is pretty much Trakt's core business, and they did a great job with it. It's not really our ambition to compete with them.
On the other hand, since we offer this functionality on the site it would make sense to expose it in the API as well. If we decide to do this it wouldn't be on the short term though.
