If you're using macOS, you might like this Dashboard Widget for tracking your shows.
It was originally available from the Apple page but in a now defunct state as it has been abandoned after TVRage disappeared.
I have since updated it to TVmaze and changed/enhanced it quite a bit according to my personal needs.
Anyway, kind of a waste not to share it here
