I see this new feature that was added very recently Create Return to this page after a succesful create
I assume it was added to the show page so it would take us back immediately which would help us not forget to add in Genres which would be fantastic if that is one of the reasons is was added. I tried it and all it does it takes me to another Blank New Show Create screen not back to the one I just added?
BTW - succesful is misspelled please correct it to successful
It's working as intended, which is apparently different from what you had in mind :)
"this page" is literally the same page: the page to create a new show/episode/cast/etc. It can be used if you want to quickly add a lot of episodes to a show, or a lot of cast members.
