Mark shows as "hide" or "not interested".

Hi,

This is actually my biggest grief with dating sites too (except for tinder), it is simply impossible to use

the site for its intended purpose if every time I list the shows I have to wade through a gazillion that

I'm not interested in to find ones that I like. It drives me nuts.

What you can do is mark the shows you like, then set the schedule, calendar etc to only list shows you follow..

Hope that helps :)

They might mean that when they want to find something new, they'll have to go through pages of shows they already know they have no interest in.

or perhaps to hide shows you are following already?

this is exactly what I mean. here is a break down of my use case:

day 1:
- let's see which show can i mark to follow

- I list shows based on popularity, set it to don't show the ones that I already follow to make the list 0,1% shorter (i followed a couple from 1st page already, playing with the settings etc)

- I go through page 1-3, follow a couple of shows, don't have time for more

- there are 100s of pages left

day 2:

- let's see which show can i mark to follow today

- I list shows based on popularity, set it to don't show the ones that I already follow to make the list 1% shorter

- bit more time, so I go through page 1-10 follow a lot, but also clicking on a lot of shows (that i clicked before and I don't like) one more time, because I don't remember them and also i had to go through page 1-3 again, because something might have changed in popularity or new shows added

- there are 100s of pages left

day 3:

- let's see which show can i mark to follow today

- I list shows based on popularity, set it to don't show the ones that I already follow to make the list 2% shorter

- today ive got same amount of time and patience, I go through page 1-10 again follow some, but also clicking on a lot of shows (that i clicked before and I don't like) one more time, because I don't remember them and also i had to go through page 1-10 again, because something might have changed in popularity or new shows added

- there are 100s of pages left

you get the picture. during 3days I advanced on the list 10 pages... this is the kind of "progressing" when I normally give up on something

ok, at this point I say WTF??? why do I have to do all this again and again, when I could have just marked 10 pages of uninspiring shows on day 2 and I never see them again???

i don't know maybe I'm doing something wrong, you tell me if there is a sensible workflow that I'm not aware of

seriously, how do you people do it without shooting yourself in the head?

I guess one thing you could do is to split it into more manageable lists, only running, scripted shows on a specific network .. that sorta thing.

+1

When I go through my countdown page of followed networks to see upcoming shows, I wish I could reject shows that I'm not interested in so they don't clutter the page.
