This is not currently possible, but your interest is noted! It's a pretty advanced feature and I really wonder how much people would make use of it.
I'd love this as well, as it would make it possible for me to sync the TVMaze calendar with Google Calendar. :)
This is now done!
Visit the dashboard for your personal iCal URL, which will contain the airdates for all shows that you're following. It will list episodes as old as one month ago, and go up to 3 months in the future.
I successfully tested the feed with Google Calendar and Thunderbird, but I'd love to hear about other success stories (or issues) :)
I've tried to import the calendar but I got an error message: "iCal can't read this calendar file. No events have been added to your iCal calendar.", even when I try to manually subscribe to it I'm not able to get it sync with ical.

Could you try again now?
I don't have an Apple so I can't test with iCal myself; but looking through the logs I see a possible explanation: the ICAL feeds are cached for up to an hour. If you access the feed before you actually followed any shows (or if none of the shows you follow have upcoming episodes), then continue to follow additional shows, it can thus take up to an hour before the feed is refreshed with this new data.

I did try several times, but no luck so far.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. I opened your feed in a few different apps/validators and they all worked fine. Does anyone else here use Apple iCal? If so, can you try the TVmaze feed and let us know if it works or not?
Thanks for the new feature! It actually solves a problem I was having regarding specials. The 'Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks' episodes, for example, are stored as specials in the database. As such - they never show up in my watchlist and I was unable to use the watchlist to track shows that fall into that category. But since they do get listed on the calendar view - I can now use google calendar to keep a watchlist and be sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!
