Bitcoin for Premium payment

I kinda like to get Premium, but I rather use a pseudonymous payment method. Any chance you could add bitcoin as payment method? (and/or other cryptocurrencies.) There are payment processors (Bitpay, Coinbase, CoinPayments, GoCoin, etc) to make it easier too (available scripts with dollar conversion etc.)

If you don't think enough people want this (I personally think this site is perfect for that target group, but okay), I guess we could even do it manually. Admin could send me a BTC address and amount (fairly based on exchange rate) and I will send it within xx hours.

If you could add an automated public way, I will pledge for a year of Gold. If manually, I will just get the Bronze. I can also understand if it's all too much trouble though (: Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think it would be cool to accept Bitcoin as payment method, though our payment provider Paddle doesn't support it yet. I'll pass on the interest, and you could also contact them yourself here.

Implementing a second payment provider merely for Bitcoin support isn't very attractive though as we'd have to build and maintain everything (code, plans, pricing rules) in two seperate places. Processing it manually should be doable though, let me think about the best way to do that!

For technical reasons it's unfortunately not straight forward to implement this without Paddle's support. But if anyone's interested let us know and I'll send you a payment link to Coinbase Commerce that we'll process manually.

Congratulations on being the first one. If more wish to get Premium with bitcoin let us know. It's a manual process but we're happy to do it.
