I'm personally happy to make almost any kind of change that allows you guys to work more efficiently, I just don't really get the gist of the problem yet, so if you have any more specific examples let us know.

Considering that people don't want to have to navigate to and from a page, I personally I feel that Edit In Place - activated by the pencil icon I added where the three dots are now - for all of the items in the info box would be the best way to do things.

Here's a mock up I created: https://i.imgur.com/nCCtk4V.png

(I wasn't sure how to treat Created by - maybe just being able to remove existing ones?)

P.S You could do it for the summary as well, I just can't be bothered updating my mock up again lol

I find this type of interface very attractive. Where you can just edit through ajax without leaving the page you're on. However making it this easy in an open contribution system like ours.. It will likely increase the amount of accidental edits. We're trying to find a balance where there is this kind of signal to a user regarding the weight of their actions while making it easier to get to the necessary tools.

This proposal also kind of reverts to the previous way of working where you need multiple clicks to get to certain edit screens. While the purpose of the current one is to unify everything in one place.

With that said. I think this kind of proposal provides more options that we can pursue and I want to see more of it. :)
