Calendar and Color Shading

Billo0255 wrote 6 years ago: 1

I use the Calendar to track shows I've acquired and watched. If I select the Acquired button, the bar to the left of the cell turns orange and the cell is shaded in orange. If I select the Skipped button, the bar to the left of the cell turns gray and the cell is shaded in gray. When I select the Watched button, the bar to the left of the cell turns green, and the cell stays the same. I didn't realize until today that bar to the left of the cell changed when I selected Watched and it goes back to transparent if no selection was made. It would make it easier to scan for shows I haven't watched if the cell was shaded. If it is shaded, please let me know and I'll go have my eyes checked. - Thanks

Hi Billo,

Marking watched also shades the entire block faintly green. Depending on your screen/angle/color blindness it might now be that obvious.

I've thought about also (through the user preferences) activating a pattern for each state to make it more obvious. However since the last update not many people have commented on it so it didn't get any priority.

best,

Jan

Jan,

My screen is a 43-Inch Samsung 1080p Smart LED TV. Hopefully just requires some tweaking.

That was it. Increased Tint and the green pops right out. Glad to know I'm not going color blind.

Thanks
