I put South Park in my Watchlist. There was a special episode of the show on Sep 30th.
Yet my Show Status says the show is "running" and Previous Episode was Dec 11, 2019.
Therefore, the special episode does not show up in my Watchlist.
My main reason to use TVMaze is not to forget a new episode as well as to keep tracking watched episodes.
I wish special episodes are listed in Watchlist.
Better support for specials was added just yesterday :)
All previously added specials were marked as "Insignificant special", but this looks like a "Significant Special" indeed, so I just updated it. That episode will now appear in the watchlist.

Oh, thank you! It now showed up as S24 Special in my Watchlist.
