Hopefully the Create Thread box accepts symbols and does not strip them.
Please update CSS for search box to the above. The CSS rule already exists, it just needs the left padding added and set to "1rem" or similar.
Currently search box looks really bad without appropriate padding.
I would not normally point out such minor quirks but considering search box is at above the fold and on every page, would be nice if it looked better. The left padding works appropriately on mobile as well.
