Unable to log in with Lastpass chrome extension.

A few days ago I made this thread in the bug forum: http://www.tvmaze.com/threads/411/cannot-log-in-pl...

I discovered that the extension LastPass was interfering with the TVMaze login process.

I can appreciate the security measure you guys take, but LastPass is a fairly common extension for saving and encrypting login information, and I presume I'm not the only one affected by this rate limiting issue.

I'd guess that rate limiting issue I suffered was caused by LastPass entering login information too quickly.

Hope this can be resolved in some way. I'd like the ability to continue using these two great services together!

That's strange. I use LastPass and it works fine in combination with our site. If I click login, it immediately fills in my username and password, submits the form, and I end up logged in.

Can you reproduce this consistently? Or only occasionally?

It's consistently reproducible. I tried logging in with and without LastPass enabled in my chrome extensions and I always receive the rate limit error with LastPass enabled.

I have my lastpass configured to not submit the form, only enter my user information. Maybe that could have an affect on logging in?

I'll try troubleshooting a bit more.

Well... I was waaaay off. Sorry for the false alarm. It seemed to be one of my extensions Rescroller interfering in some way. No idea how it manages to prevent me from logging into TVMaze...

I've since disabled it and I no longer have any issues logging in. I could still be wrong about what was preventing me from logging in, however with the extension removed and not having issues logging in I can only come to the conclusion that it was Rescroller interfering somehow.

Strange! Perhaps that extension misbehaves by doing additional requests to the login page under the hood. I'll keep this open for a bit to see if anyone else has ever had problems with this.
