Deleted shows that are followed are lost forever?

I do not why it was removed the trailer is still on YouTube [I guess it was a duplicate, it wasn't when I originally added my follow that is the problem unless you notice you have lost your follow]

The problem is when it gets added back to the site the associated follow will not be so I am no longer notified of the show.

Perhaps this should have been posted in Suggestions but could anything be done about this?

One idea is perhaps the Follows page could include a category of our Deleted Follows so we can at least investigate what has happened and add it back?

yeh, I think it would be nice if followers get notified about the deletion of a show. :)

Looking at my browser history it looks like I may have had the newer (therefore duplicate) SurrealEstate followed but that is half the problem if you happen to time it where you have searched and have followed a future deleted show for whatever reason you have lost your follow and may never know.

Another possible solution could be if a followed show is deleted make it appear as a notification so you see it when you next visit the site - I guess what Juan mentioned above :)

Notifaction to followers when a show is marked for deletion is already something that is under consideration.

In addition, being able to move followers from the duplicate to the correct show has also been suggested.

Just had my first notification that a show I follow has been scheduled for deletion.  Fantastic new feature.

It also included a brief note in the description on why it was scheduled for deletion which is also an excellent idea.
