I noticed it yesterday but I don't know when it started. Where you select aquired/watched/skipped the icons are invisible so you can't really see where you're clicking - see picture at https://i.imgur.com/BSMHQGd.jpg

My reply didn't get sent lol - let's try that again:
Win 10 Enterprise latest (20h1) + Waterfox, a slimmer Firefox fork. I didn't install any add-ons lately and am not aware that I changed anything. Happens with + without any "Stylish" themes.
Why can't I edit my posts lol - I meant version 21h1 of course ;)
I'm on windows 10 with Brave Browser. I don't have the glitch
So if I understand it correctly so far, the issue only exists in Firefox on Windows? Does anyone else have problems with a different OS/browser combination?
I just tried it in Chrome and it all looks fine there, still on my latest Win10.
Doesn't help me since I don't use (and hate) Chrome but maybe it'll help you in tracking down the issue?
Everything looks fine on Firefox (as well as Chromium) on Linux too, so it sounds like the windows build of Firefox has a specific bug..
I managed to spin up a Windows 10 VM and everything works just fine there in the latest Firefox as well... so it's not a global issue but has to be a very specific setting/plugin/etc. If anyone else has issues, please report back here with your exact configuration!
Please note that we only support the latest and second-to-latest version of modern browsers (firefox, edge, or chromium-based); firefox 53 is definitely unsupported.
Win10 21h1 64bit
Waterfox G3.2.3 64bit "based on Gecko 78.12.0", https://www.waterfox.net/blog/waterfox-G3.2.3/
I disabled uBlock Origin + NoScript as well as my Stylus themes, no change. I do use some other add-ons but none that would influence just these few specific visuals of the pages here. I tried disabling most of them for testing and the problem persisted. I even tried using different Windows themes, but again no change.
Not sure what else to try since it used to work just fine, I have no idea what changed.

Also been happening with Firefox 78.11.0esr (64-bit) on debian Linux for (at least) a few days.
I looked in my browsers console and saw:

The script from “https://ib.adnxs.com/bounce?%2Fasync_usersync%3Fcbfn%3DqueuePixels” was loaded even though its MIME type (“text/html”) is not a valid JavaScript MIME type.
Not sure if any of those are the cause.

@alexx Thanks for the report! I think the console errors you are seeing are from an advertisement though.
FYI, from the screenshots it's pretty clear what's happening, the fontawesome stylesheet is failing to load. I have some ideas, but it's hard to test without being able to reproduce it. Firefox 78 is also pretty esoteric...

I think you're correct. (No idea why it is just fontawesome.)
fyi Firefox 78 is the current Firefox in debian 10 stable.
I'm happy to run any tests that can help. (The functionality still works, just like a dice with the spots rubbed off, for those of us that remember where the spots were.)
https://static.tvmaze.com/intvendor/fontawesome/css/all.min.css?v=testing_fa loads for me when I paste it into the browser URL. Also I tested the tvmaze site with Chromium 90.0.4430.212 and the fontawesome icons load.
I noticed that the thumbs [up, down] in this forum are also not loading, (so that functionality isn't available to people that are having this issue.)
I can't manage to reproduce this, so I'm flying pretty blind. But is it any better/worse now?
