Is it possible to change the search to exclude or ignore dots (.) from the tv show name, like if I send house.of.the.dragon to the tvmaze search in the current search engine we will get nothing like: Pardon us, but no shows or people matching your query were found.
It would be great if you include ignore dot (.) or change it to space instead of dot (.).
Example house.of.the.dragon - house of the dragon.

Why would you search for house.of.the.dragon? There are no dots in the title.
First its universally known that on linux you don`t use space instead you are using dots, second its not a question why, but why would you not. Its normal on IMDB to support Linux and Windows users, on TVMAZE only Windows users are supported for any automatization.
Life would be easier to linux users and this function (ignoring the dots or replacing the dots with spaces), is supported in all current database search engines used on almost every site on this planet, and for some reasons admins forget to enable it.
I use Linux and my filenames contain spaces just fine. :)
Our search function already ignores dots, which is why for example a search for "SWAT" is able to come up with "S.W.A.T.".
But if we'd replace all dots with spaces instead, a search query for "S.W.A.T." would be rewritten to "S W A T", which wouldn't actually match with the show name anymore.
Long story short: it's not a matter of "forgot to enable", search is a very complicated balance and every improvement comes with collateral damage as well. In this case, that's not worth it if people can just.. you know.. search for a query without added dots instead.

:) torrents have the name with dots (e.g. House.of.the.Dragon.S01E01.HDR.2160p.WEB.H265-GLHF[rartv]) so a copy/paste would generate this issue.
