Should this really be considered a special episode of season 2 of Dr. Death? Although the subject matter is the same it appears to be a documentary and separate from the season?

Just a note that when it's a one-off episode of a different show type (documentary vs scripted) they'd always be insignificant specials.

If it was multiple episodes, it would be a separate show.
