...they should be ordered by season and episode number, which means by release/air date, no?
By season they are 7x22, 5x02, 7x18 which is random.
By date they are May 1991, Oct 1988, Mar 1991 which is also random.
By character alphabet they are Vikki, Glenda, Sally which are also random.
Shouldn't there be some order to it? I thought things like this were fixed.
All guest roles are "Guest Cast", not a mix of guest and co-star, so that too isn't affecting order in any way.

The obvious thing creating problem here is that there are three different characters she played. In this case, each is tied to a single episode which may be while you don't care about ordering different characters. If each would be tied to different episodes which appear at different dates, that may cause up and down jumping in order. Although even in such cases, you can order by first appearance of a character, perhaps?
So this isn't a bug, just a decided way not to do any sorting when it comes to different characters under same show. I've found some other examples and they also seem random. Would it be difficult to at least include an order in the query to maybe sort them by their first appearance? That would probably be much easier to follow since many people play many different characters in the same show. If this would be too much trouble, then just disregard this post.
