Rather than jack up the database...

...I thought I'd come here and ask a question.

MSNBC has changed their lineup on weekends and weeknights beginning the first week of May. I've been trying to maintain the Episode List for the weekend program The Weekend, which is now splitting into three different programs. What was originally The Weekend is becoming:

The Weekend - an expansion of the current weekend morning program from two to three hours Saturday and Sunday, hosts replaced

The Weekend: Primetime - an evening version of the same program with different hosts broadcast for three hours Saturday and Sunday

The Weeknight - a Monday through Friday primetime version of the original program with the original hosts

I thought the whole thing was straightforward thinking I would update the hosts for the original program and continue updating the current entry. I would create two new entries for the two new programs with names differing from the original.

However, as I started to do the new entry for The Weeknight and seeing the request for IMDb ID, I went to IMDb to get the code when I noticed that the original program on THAT database had been renamed with the new weeknight program which means it has the same IMDb ID. At this point, I stopped cold rather than creating what could be a bad situation.

I'm seeking guidance on how I should proceed.

Ciao for now!
Mike

The Weeknight had already been added; See:https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/84267/the-weeknight. Also, The Weekend had been updated reflecting the hour addition and new hosts. The Weekend Primetime is also already added and ready to go in May. Question though, did you check for these shows already existing before you were going to add them?
