Pending Verification

Can someone take care of the Pending Verification hold on my account real quick?

I really need to change the cover of the animated series "Cricket and Dundee" and add two episodes.

You're "on hold" because you did some editing mistakes in the past and ignored the private message you got about it.

So you'll have to reply to that message before we can sort this out :)

I have the same problem. I don't think I added anything wrong. I haven't received any message either. It's been almost a day. Do I need to wait longer or will it not be allowed?

You're good to go now.

Ditto here. I'm not new and have been contributing for years but all my past history has been wiped. It doesn't foster a good community spirit when one is treated this way. And now I add one episode update and have been locked out. Not impressed. I do these social things when I have time to help sites out. Whatever prompted this aggressive system is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Youve made multiple edits not one. The system rolls back levels when theirs a lengthy period of inactivity, this is because weve had users previously not flag up after years away and abuse editing shows and people. It's not as if you've been waiting several hours to be checked either, your account only flagged up an hour ago and I've just passed you onto the next level now.

Thank you for the response, but I know of no other edits other than the one made today - 1 episode.

I wasn't going to say anything but as you've raised it, (my absence) it is a) illness and b) the behaviour of one male moderator towards me. At the time, I had a number of contributions to make but wasn't sure how to go about it as they entailed creating additional episodes. I recall I wrote in for help and laid out the details incl my source material. The response was somewhat slow and when I went to update that series, I found the moderator had gone in and done it, claiming bunny points for his own profile. Frankly, I no longer care. If some individuals are so lacking in character that they help themselves to another's research - I feel sorry for them.

I have very little time for television but this is a nice site that I've used occasionally. It is well laid out and quite dependable, which is why I contribute when I can. I came on this afternoon to check an airing date and found some gaps. That is all I care to say. Thanks.

Since your level was rolled back in November 2024 you've made 15 edits mostly in March this year thats then hit the trigger. Within a hour of hitting the trigger you were promoted. I fail to see what the issue is, no one's saying not to continue editing, once you pass certain thresholds you no longer hit triggers. You have to understand we need a system in place to avoid users basically not following procedures and policies correctly, this is that system. If User B comes along and undoes User As edits incorrectly, if you were User A you wouldn't be happy. If User A makes legit edits and has a illness and returns 8 months later, but then undoes User Bs legit edits, again we need to be across that.

The staff member you dealt with at the time hasn't been affiliated with the site for a while, I can only apologise for the behaviour you encountered at the time.
