I've briefly mentioned this in the past, but I think something should be at least be figured out and/or done for consistency... but basically, regarding the Bachelor/Bachelorette (US) franchise, the typical cast listing has been for any host(s) to be listed under main cast, and all 'contestants', whether the Bachelor or Bachelorette of the season, and their men or women, is listed under guest cast. For example::
1. The Bachelor - Chris Harrison and Jesse Palmer under main cast, Bachelor of respective seasons and their contestants are listed under guest cast
2. The Bachelorette - Chris Harrison, Jesse Palmer, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Tayshia Adams under main cast, Bachelorette of respective seasons and their contestants are listed under guest cast
3. The Golden Bachelor - Jesse Palmer under main cast, Golden Bachelor of respective seasons and their contestants are listed under guest cast
The main issue arises with the other 'Golden' spinoff, The Golden Bachelorette, where currently, Joan Vassos (who served as the Golden Bachelorette for the thus far single season) is indeed listed under guest cast, but is also currently listed under main cast, along with host Jesse Palmer. The precise issue can be seen here. The original discussion occurred here, but it seems that nothing has come of it.
So I'm not quite sure how this should be resolved, but again, I think this should (finally?) get discussed/figured out so it can all be consistent/accurate.
