Limiting the RSS feed/article

I'm currently using monitoRSS and I'm having issues, I've send support to them but they said because the rss itself has way too many aricles (over 200?) - they suggested me to limit the rss.

Here's a copy of what they said to me via email "Thanks for reaching out. It looks like the feed is fairly large with over 200 articles in it - and unfortunately, it takes so long to parse through all the articles that the browser simply terminates the request and shows you that error.

I would suggest asking the feed author to see if you're able to pass parameters into the feed URL to limit its size so it's more manageable. For example, some feeds support a query parameter at the end such as "?limit=25" that would limit the number of items in the feed to 25 items."

So, wondered if there's a way to limit the rss of my choice, i.e. if I want 100 then I can use my rss link and put ?limit=100

Or, is that already done and if so, I couldn't find a guide for it.

Thanks

Sure, we can do that. Which of the RSS feeds are you talking about specifically?

Done! (With the parameter ?limit=xxx)

Let me know if this works :)

Ah, sorry, let me clarify: there's always only one ? in a URL, if there is more than 1 parameter they are separated by a &.

So: try /rss/followed?token=xxx&limit=10

That works, many thanks - will see how MonitoRSS handles it from now and on.

Thanks
