Hey folks,

just a quick notice that I will be leaving tvmaze after being here since day 1.
I wish the founders @david and @Jan all the best and hope tvmaze will continue to grow.

To leave no room for speculation, the reason for leaving is not a rash decision, it has been lingering for over a year.
I have pretty huge disagreements with some of the staff and I simply do not want to put more energy into arguing and bickering about things I see different.
Time is the most valuable thing we have and time not well spent is something I want to avoid.

Also wishing those staff members that I have grown to like a lot of good luck in the future (you know who you are and we will stay in contact @Aidan will set something up)

Please do not write me any messages or use my talkpage from now on, both won't be checked anymore.

That's all I have to say, for most of the time it was a fun ride and a long one it was too. :)

Juan,

Thanks for everything you’ve put into TVmaze since day 1. You’ve had a huge impact on what the site became, and I’m grateful for that.

I get wanting to step back and protect your time and energy.

I’ll keep it simple: if/when you decide you want to be more involved again, you won’t need to justify it or rehash old arguments. You can just show up, and we’ll make it work.

New year, new chances.

Thx for the kind words Jan, for now I will be using tvmaze like everyone else does.

If the time comes that I want to be more involved again, I will let you know, thx for leaving this door open.😸
