Wrong episode of the wrong show marked watched

LouisWu wrote 12 days ago: 1

I just watched GBM 21x26 The finals: fish course on BBC2 and marked its alternate entry on my weekly calendar as watched at "Apr 21, 2026, 7:02:07 PM UTC", shortly after it finished.

Instead of GBM, a random episode of JAG got marked instead. A show I probably never even touched for the last decade or more.

Please investigate. I'll keep both episodes untouched.

What was used to mark this as watched?

Did you do it on the website, or an external tool like Kodi?

Would Kodi be able to use the weekly calendar like that?
That's nice!
But I used the website.

GBM is in finals mode this week, with 5 episodes on BBC2, one every workday.

Just now I marked the next episode, 21x27 as watched. And just like yesterday, another episode of JAG was marked instead. 1x20, one up from 1x19.

This means this is easily reproducible. And consistently stays on JAG and iterates the episodes sequentially.

Obviously, I'm experiencing some kind of edge case. Otherwise this bug would have affected more users and this thread would blow up.

So here's some of the specifics for my situation:

1. I'm not following every show on my weekly calendar, interacting with it through a tag instead ("Watch live" id=11135). But Great British Menu (GBM) I do follow.
2. My weekly calendar displays GBM "airings" for both the World premiere on iPlayer and Alternate list Broadcast premiere on BBC2.
3. Marking and un-marking the BBC2 entry on the calendar invokes JAG instead of GBM.
4. Marking and un-marking the iPlayer entry on the calendar invokes GBM, both iPlayer and BBC2 versions at the same time. As it should be.
5. Marking and un-marking on the episodes pages works as expected, for both World and Alternate premiere.

Where I say "Marking and un-marking", this is about the Watched status. I did not test every single possible status change, but everything I tested behaved the same.

Hope this helps to arrive at a speedy resolution.

Ok I'm able to recreate this so @david you're up ;p

What I've done is setting my alternate lists to UK in the preferences and then mark one of those alternate lists as watched in either the weekly or monthly calendar.
