An example is Baywatch and Babylon 5 It appears that show details are not passed on to the API. Can this be fixed?
There is no direct link from the show to the API. This needs to be put in place.

What do you mean the show details aren't "passed on to the API"? You need to provide more specifics. Also, what does "there is no direct link from the show to the API" mean? You mean in the browser? What would be the point of that?

Both Baywatch and Babylon 5 have reboots in development with little info added to them. So I'm guessing you're pulling data for the wrong shows.
