I've been catching up on old NOVA episodes that PBS/GBH happens to have available on their app. I noticed that the episode numbers do not match PBS, GBH, or iMDB? GBH is probably authoritative, but they only list episodes that happen to be available for streaming. Long story short, is it possible to renumber episodes to match?

Do you have official evidence thats how the episodes originally aired?

Unfortunately this is an area where it can be hard to know the original order episodes aired. Unless you can show old TV Guide entries that show what dates specific episodes aired, it's asking a lot to change things based on what you see on a streaming site, even WGBH unless it specifically mentions the date an episode was originallya aired, since that may not reflect how PBS aired things.
