@Midnight episode Titles editing to match actual guests & guest order after airing

chachi921 wrote 9 years ago: 1

Hello!

Once a scene release for @Midnight is available, I watch the release, then edit the Episode Name to accurately match the actual guests & guest order of that episode airing. (Many times the pre-announced guests may not match the actual guests on that Episode, or the guest order may be different from the actual show when it airs.)

Lately, the scene has been releasing 1 week at a time for this show, and I am now blocked from updating the Episode Name by the bot that screens out too many changes by a regular user.

I assure you I am not spamming, and I believe my edits follow the guidelines.

For Valid Sources I am using:

Data shown on-screen during the episode's announcement, intro, or credits

For the Name edits I am making I am using:

For talk shows, a list of guests which appeared in the episode may be put in the name.

Thanks for contributing, I'm sorry to hear you stumbled upon a lock!

Mind that the locking is not show-wide though, and not even episode-wide. If the episode name for a specific episode is changed around too frequently, it'll be locked, but for that episode only and only for the name attribute.

Which episode did you get locked out for?

Based on actual airing, Name should be: Jena Friedman, Open Mike Eagle, Hari Kondabolu

Ah, yeah, this was an actual "conflict": before you reported it today, the episode title was changed 4 times already. There's no generic lock, other episodes from the show can still be edited normally :)

If you come across more cases like this, please report them as well, so we can fix those manually and evaluate the locking functionality.
